Better Nigeria USA congratulates PMB over election victory
Better Nigeria USA (BNU), a cohesive network of Nigerian professionals in United States who are united in their quest advancement of Democracy and good governance in Nigeria, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, and his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo for their good showing and subsequent re election as both President and vice president of Nigeria, respectively, in the February 23rd General election.
This congratulatory and good will message was made available in a statement released to the press by the Diaspora group’ secretary general, Chief Titus Amadi.
In the press statement which was signed by the group’s Chairman, Dr. Salewa Olafioye, Better Nigeria USA commended the forthrightness of the Buhari administration and expressed its delight at the voters’ wise choice of preferring the continuation of the giant stride of the Buhari administration.
The body says the victory of APC at the general election is a validation of the trust bestowed on Buhari by Nigerians as a result of his accomplishments in his genuine and unparalleled fight against corruption, provision of adequate security for the nation , his giant stride in the area of infrastructural development, and how he is gradually stabilizing the economy.
” We the members of Better Nigeria USA, a Buhari campaign organization in the Diaspora, worked hard to help make your victory a reality because we are convinced by your altruistic leadership,” Salewa Olafioye said.
The statement reiterates the optimism of Better Nigeria USA to work amicably and in collaboration with the Buhari administration in areas where their professional expertise as Nigerians in the Diaspora can be of immense value to further enhance the nation’s economy.
While charging the re elected duo of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to continue to give hope to Nigeria and Nigerians by walking their talk, Better Nigeria USA noted that it is confident that the next four years of this government will consolidate on the road map to progress agenda of the Buhari administration and Nigerians will be better for it.
